Sitreps is seeking a General Manager for Residential Home Services in the Greater Orlando area. This on-site role oversees P&L, leadership teams, and the brand’s trajectory in a top home-services market.

You will drive growth, implement proven SOPs, and ensure disciplined operating standards across multiple trades, with a platform backing and performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Owns a P&L or ran an operation with outcome-based metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and growth targets.
• Manage service and install model: bookings, dispatch, productivity, tickets, close rate, and membership growth.
• Lead service and install managers, dispatchers, CSRs, and technicians: hire, coach, set performance bars.
• Recruit, retain, and structure pay for technicians in a competitive Florida market.
• Deploy and enforce platform SOPs and ensure adoption across the team.
• Oversee licensing, permitting, safety, and fleet operations regionally.
• Forecast, budget, and conduct performance reviews with platform leadership.

Compensation: $180,000 to $220,000 base + bonus + long-term incentive

About the Client

An established residential air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical brand serving homeowners across Central Florida. The business is part of a national, private equity-backed home-services platform that brings shared services, proven playbooks, and capital to grow.

About the Role

We are hiring a General Manager to run the business. The seat owns the P&L, the leadership team, and the trajectory of the brand in one of the largest and fastest-growing home-services markets in the country.

This is an operator's seat. The platform brings the playbooks and the backing. The brand needs a leader who takes ownership of the number, sets the operating standard, holds the team to it, and drives growth across multiple trades.

Industry background is not required. We care about whether you have owned results and led people who do hard, physical work.

Responsibilities

• Full P&L: revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and growth targets.
• The service and install model: call booking, dispatch efficiency, technician productivity, average ticket, close rate, callbacks, and membership growth.
• Leadership of service and install managers, dispatchers, CSRs, and field technicians: hiring, coaching, and holding the bar.
• Technician recruiting, retention, and pay structure in a competitive Florida labor market.
• Installing the platform playbook: deploying proven SOPs and confirming adoption rather than assuming it.
• Licensing, permitting, safety, and fleet across the service area.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews with platform leadership.

Must-Haves

• A track record of owning a P&L or running an operation where you were measured on the result, in any industry.
• Leadership of frontline teams. You have led crews, technicians, or operators and earned their trust.
• A self-directed operator's instinct. You find the answer, install it, and verify it worked.
• Financial fluency: you can read the P&L, find the leak, and close it.
• A bias to action and an ownership mentality over reporting activity.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Orlando area.

Nice-to-Haves

• Multi-site or general management experience in home services, field services, or another service business.
• Prior military leadership followed by civilian operating experience.

$180,000 to $220,000 base salary, plus an annual bonus and a long-term incentive.
