Job summary

Amrize is seeking a General Manager RMX to drive strategic leadership and oversee the Ready Mix business in North America. You will manage safety, operations, full P&L, sales, maintenance, quality control, and sustainability while transforming customer requirements into state-of-the-art production strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in construction materials and at least 5 years in GM leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in the construction materials sector, including production, distribution, quality, and commercial.
• At least 5 years of proven leadership as a General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Delivers strategic leadership and management practices to support the company’s strategy and drive continual process improvement.
• Maintains positive relations with employees, customers, suppliers, and community while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develops annual business plans, budgets, and sales targets to meet market opportunities and profitability.
• Oversees production quality, cost control, and capital expenditures; monitors KPIs and cost drivers.
• Partners with regional management to cascade objectives, and with HR on leadership development and succession planning.
• Promotes safety culture and adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
