Job summary

Amrize in Plano, TX is seeking a General Manager RMX to drive strategy and oversee Ready Mix operations with full P&L responsibility. You’ll lead safety, production, sales, finance, and environmental compliance to deliver cost-effective, high-quality concrete solutions.

You’ll translate customer requirements into operational plans, develop budgets, mentor leaders, and partner with regional teams to grow market share while maintaining a safe, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Field of Study: Operations Management, Business, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years in the construction materials sector including production, distribution, quality, and commercial responsibilities; at least 5 years in GM leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and management aligning with the company’s business strategy and drive continuous process improvement.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including employees, customers, suppliers, and communities; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Understand customer needs and translate into production strategies to meet mutual goals with cost efficiency.
• Set and execute annual business plans, budgets and sales targets; oversee marketing and market expansion.
• Ensure quality through production process evaluation and collaboration with support functions.
• Foster safety culture and maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance; manage talent development and succession.
