Job summary

BGRE, a premier global real estate partner, seeks a General Manager to lead the property team and drive business metrics in a shopping center context. You will manage capital and operating plans, oversee financial performance, and build strong tenant and community relationships to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of leadership in shopping centers, strong budgeting and communication skills, and proficiency with JD Edwards, Salesforce, and Yardi.

Qualifications

• Requires strong leadership and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for property assets.
• Proficiency with MS Office, ERP/CRM systems (JD Edwards, Salesforce).
• OSHA 30-Hour certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead property team and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
• Develop multi-year capital and operating plans for the property.
• Monitor key metrics: NOI, cash flow, occupancy, sales, and financing.
• Hire, coach, and develop property staff; ensure policy compliance.
• Build relationships with tenants, officials, and local stakeholders.
• Drive safety, sustainability, and Life Saving Principles across operations.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to meet property and corporate objectives.
• Support RE taxes planning and community partnerships.
