Job summary

Indigo seeks an experienced operating leader to own Northern California growth, set the strategy, build the team and operating model, and drive results. You will balance high-level market strategy with hands-on problem solving alongside physicians and frontline teams to scale our healthcare platform.

You will architect AI-native workflows, decide where automation or human judgment is needed, and shape the organization for rapid, sustainable growth in California.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of operating experience in relevant settings.
• Background in healthcare startups, consulting, private equity, or other high-growth operating roles.

Responsibilities

• Own growth, operations, and overall performance for Northern California.
• Develop the regional strategy and translate it into clear operating plans.
• Design AI-native operational workflows across the physician journey.
• Determine which processes should be automated, AI-assisted, or human-led.
• Work directly with physicians to understand pain points and improve practice performance.
• Identify and execute opportunities to launch new markets, add physicians, and grow existing practices.
• Partner with product, engineering, and central operations teams to turn operational needs into scalable tools.
