Job summary

Clinically AI is seeking a Director of Operations in San Diego to lead the operational backbone across Engineering, Sales, Implementation, Support, and Marketing. You will translate executive themes into scalable processes, design SOPs, and own the data, dashboards, and release practices to drive growth.

You will partner with the executive team, build cross‑department rhythms, and scale the operations function as the company grows, including hiring and structuring a new team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations or similar leadership in SaaS (healthtech preferred).
• Experience owning cross-functional programs across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and CS.
• Experience partnering with founders or exec leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Hands-on fluency with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce) and project tracking (Jira, Asana, ClickUp).
• Experience designing/improving processes: intake, release, handoffs.
• Comfort with security/compliance efforts (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO/IEC 42001).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; SOPs and release notes.
• High ownership mindset; drive gaps to completion.

Responsibilities

• - Own the operational strategy translating executive priorities into processes, metrics, and workflows.
• - Build cross-departmental operating rhythms to keep teams aligned on priorities.
• - Design and own SOPs for launches, reporting, and performance.
• - Define leading/lagging indicators for teams and themes.
• - Manage end-to-end process for development escalations with business impact focus.
• - Drive release checklists with owner, adoption goals across functions.
• - Own CRM architecture and data handoffs between Sales, Finance, and Implementations.
• - Build leadership dashboards for revenue, health, and funnel performance.
• - Lead cross-functional security/compliance programs (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO).
• - Partner with execs on strategic initiatives and new product lines.
• - Own operations tool stack and integrations.
• - Grow the operations function with future hiring and structure.
