Southern Foodservice Management, Inc. seeks a dynamic General Manager to oversee a full-service cafeteria, catering, and hot food delivery operations. The role requires leadership across multiple shifts and a strong focus on service quality, safety, and profitability.

You will manage budgets, costs, and purchasing, while directing front and back-of-house teams, ensuring compliance with health codes and brand standards. Excellent communication and multitasking are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of food service management experience.
• Experience in an institutional setting and/or another food service industry is required.
• Experience managing a large dining hall or full-service cafeteria is preferred.
• Proficiency in Back of House and Front of House operations.

Mansioni

• Direct daily operations of all outlets including menu planning, production, and service quality.
• Ensure locations meet food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Monitor costs and implement cost-control measures for food, labor, and supplies.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Track KPIs for performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and supervise salaried managers and hourly staff.
• Foster a customer-service focused, quality-driven team culture.

• Ensure compliance with health codes, OSHA, and corporate food safety procedures.
• Maintain licensing and certifications for branded operations (e.g., ServSafe).
