Job summary

Kids for the Future in Springfield, MO, is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage day-to-day masonry contractor activities. The role emphasizes leadership, project oversight and client relations within commercial construction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial masonry, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills, and basic computer skills to support project controls and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial masonry construction.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience required.
  • High level of customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships in the design community to promote masonry construction and the company's expertise.
  • Maintain revenue goals by bidding, developing estimates and bidding and winning work.
  • Manage masonry projects per standard operating procedures.
  • Assist Foremen with enforcement of schedules and scopes.
  • Monitor and report weekly productivity and manage project labor and material costs with foremen.
  • Serve as relationship manager for clients and maintain subcontractor, vendor and community relationships.
  • Guide and support project staff, including Foremen and Project Coordinator.
  • Remain current with issues and make recommendations for changes to policies/procedures to President as necessary.
  • Effective management and development of assigned staff including training, coaching, mentoring, managing, leading, etc.
