Job summary

Socotra, Inc. is seeking a General Manager for a luxury retail store in Los Angeles. You will lead a diverse leadership and sales team, align on strategies to drive revenue, and ensure an excellent client experience.

You’ll oversee merchandising, marketing, and client relations, while managing labor and budget to run the store efficiently. You will inspire the team daily, model integrity, and leverage store insights on the front line to shape store strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in retail management.
• College degree preferred.
• Experience with buying and merchandising preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience delivering Sales Management trainings and presentations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Open availability including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Language skills (Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin, or others) are a plus.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities
