Job summary

Columbia Hospitality seeks a General Manager for The Cosmopolitan to provide strategic leadership across all hotel departments, oversee budgeting, and drive guest experience at a luxury level.

You will lead group sales outreach, liaise with community leaders and industry partners, and implement standards and profitability strategies while fostering a culture of exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years progressive GM experience at a property of similar size and service level.
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination and leadership for all departments in the property.
• Primary support for group sales outreach, negotiations and service.
• Direct liaison to community organizations, city officials, industry associations and PR entities.
• Ensure all standards, policies and procedures are followed in all departments.
• Participate in the annual operating budget and financial plans.
• Create and monitor annual operating goals and growth drivers.
• Manage hotel expenses, pricing, profitability and revenue strategies.
• Oversee reports production and distribution.
• Protect property assets via maintenance, security, and improvements.
• Analyze guest feedback and implement service upgrades.
• Promote the property in the local community and with industry partners.
• Hire, train, develop, schedule, discipline and coach staff.
• Provide performance assessments and conduct training as needed.
