Job summary

DSV, a global transport and logistics leader, is seeking a General Manager for its Frederick, MD operation. You will oversee strategic direction, compliance and financial results while acting as the primary client interface for proposals and contracts.

Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO activities; develop marketing plans and grow new business; ensure alignment with corporate mission and client expectations. This on-site role requires strong leadership and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Budgeting and P&L management experience required.
• At least 3 years experience in an operations management related position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manpower planning, recruiting and development for the operation.
• Ensure procedures exist to guarantee client service, productivity and equipment maintenance.
• Set goals to drive continuous improvement for the site.
