Job summary

Andy’s Frozen Custard in Grapevine, TX is seeking a General Manager to direct daily operations of the store, model our standard of excellence, and own store performance across product prep, customer service, facilities, and financial accountability.

You will hire, train, and coach the talent to achieve key results in Custard, Crew, and Customers while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. A minimum of 2 years of management experience in quick service is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven management experience in the food service industry.
• Must be 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Monitor custard quality and ensure fresh every hour.
• Responsible for all store operations, foster a “run it like you own it” mentality.
• Execute store operations during scheduled shifts including opening and closing duties.
• Ensures that all health and safety regulations are being followed.
• Follow and reinforce Andy’s operational policies and procedures.
• Completes designated Food Safety and Training programs as prescribed.
• Responsible for driving key performance indicators, sales and transaction growth, and overall profitability of the store.
• Coach, teach, train and develop subordinates to prepare for promotion opportunities.
• Constantly communicate with District Manager and Andy’s home office as appropriate.
• Perform all day-to-day tasks that is asked of our store crew.
• Manage vendors and vendor relationships.
• Communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations.
• Schedule and lead store management meetings. Attend district, regional, and company meetings.
• Recruit as needed, according to current shift count needs.
• Execute store operations, achieving maximum operational efficiency during scheduled shifts including store opening, shift change, closing, daily, weekly.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and follow training programs and progress.
• Accurately forecast, schedule, and execute the labor model as designed.
• Hold one on ones, holding crew accountable and manage progressive discipline when necessary.
