Job summary

Andy’s Frozen Custard in Mount Prospect, IL seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations, ensure quality, service, and financial accountability, and coach the team.

You must have at least 2 years of management experience in quick service and be 18+. The role demands long hours, strong customer service, and a collaborative leadership style.

This position offers benefits and requires hands-on leadership to uphold Andy's standards across Custard, Crew, and Customers.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Work a minimum of 45-50 hours per week, open availability.
• Work 3-4 closing shifts per week, including day shifts.
• Can manage cash according to cash handling policies.
• Must be able to work late nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Complete training in all areas of store within designated time.
• Complete all required tasks on Andy's training modules.

Responsibilities

• Direct store operations and ensure health, safety and policy adherence.
• Lead and coach the Crew to drive sales and profitability.
• Schedule, recruit, and manage staffing according to shift needs.
• Oversee vendor relationships and communications within the store.
• Maintain customer service standards and resolve issues promptly.
