DMC Recruitment Group in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a General Manager to lead our client’s Industrial Distribution operation. This senior leadership role owns branch performance, profitability, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and growth.

You will drive end-to-end operations, partner with senior leadership, coach teams, and implement strategic initiatives. A hands-on, results‑oriented leader is required to deliver measurable improvements and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior management experience within Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing, Wholesale Distribution, or a related industry.
• Demonstrated success leading branch operations with full P&L accountability.
• Strong operational leadership experience, including warehouse management, inventory control, procurement, logistics, and process improvement.
• Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day branch operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvement, workflow optimization, and performance management.
• Establish, monitor, and improve key operational metrics related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, delivery performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives that support long-term growth, profitability, and operational scalability.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational discipline.
• Partner with senior leadership to establish branch objectives, growth strategies, and operational priorities.
