Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a senior operations leader to direct distribution center activities within a large-scale facility in the United States. You will drive operational excellence, process improvements, and talent development to meet customer expectations while collaborating with logistics and supply chain teams.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and a focus on safety and efficiency across the distribution network.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline is typically required.
• 7+ years of related experience is typical.
• Certification may be required; advanced degree may offset less experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient distribution operations and adherence to policy and process excellence.
• Manages talent management including selection, termination, performance review and development of direct reports.
• Ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet service, financial and operational demands.
• Manages carrier services and delivery processes, ensuring DOT compliance.
• Develops annual operating budgets and completes ROI justifications.
• Acts as liaison to leadership and coordinates with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develops annual operating budgets in support of corporate goals and manages P&L.
• Controls costs through productivity and inventory accuracy.
