U-Haul is seeking a General Manager in San Francisco to lead a moving and storage center. You will drive profitability, hire and coach staff, manage inventory, and ensure top-quality customer care in a fast-paced setting.

You will oversee equipment maintenance, budgets, and security, while contributing to ongoing training through U-Haul University. The role requires leadership in a high-volume retail environment and a solid track record of delivering results.

Formación

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
• Computer proficiency is required
• Organizational expertise is necessary
• Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss accountability

Responsabilidades

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Perform profit/loss analyses.
• Hire and mentor new team members.
• Track and itemize inventory.
• Manage the personnel budget.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
