Njswim in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a General Manager who will lead both in the pool and on the floor, engaging with children, families and coworkers. You’ll participate in training and contribute to a fun, high‑performing team.

You will hire, coach and develop staff, drive exceptional customer experiences, create schedules and lead regular meetings. The role combines hands‑on operations with strategic oversight to keep the school thriving.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or 5+ years leadership/work experience may be considered.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and empower a team.
• Excellent customer service comes naturally and you can set goals and execute plans.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Hiring, coaching, leading and inspiring a team - both in aquatics and customer service.

• Drive exceptional customer experiences and satisfaction! Lead by example, working front-line shifts and through team enhancement and development.

• Calmly, positively and proactively respond to challenges.

• Maintain a clean and safe facility.

• Master our teaching curriculum and customer service practices.

• Create a caring, fun, friendly and effective work environment!

• Create and manage schedules and lead regular team meetings

• Manage employee engagement and retention.

• Develop your operations team to be industry leaders.

• Directly manage key performance indicators to ensure the location is operating efficiently and effectively.

• Manage and operate a profitable business.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Undergraduate College degree (5 years of relevant leadership/work experience may be considered)

• 2-3 years of management experience (supervising a department/division/site/team)

• Proven success in leading, motivating, and empowering a team

• A genuine love for teaching children

• Ability to recognize problems and resolve them on the spot

• Excellent customer service skills - it must be natural for you to want to say "yes!"

• Ability to set goals, create plans and convert plans into action

Pay Range

USD $55,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.

• Full salary range: $55,000-$80,000

• Up to $17,000.00 in bonus potential
