Job summary

SONIC Drive-In seeks a General Manager to lead a fast-paced team in a customer-focused environment. You will train Crew, manage scheduling, monitor inventory and ensure compliance with policies, safety and sanitation standards.

You will direct operations, develop action plans to improve sales and profitability, and implement marketing initiatives. The role requires at least two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred), strong leadership, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields are preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running shifts without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations.
• Leadership and supervisory practices with strong verbal and written communication.
• Problem solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operating standards.
• Prepare employee work schedules and adjust staffing.
• Monitor inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Maintain payroll records and employment records.
• Resolve guest requests and address complaints.
• Interview and hire staff to achieve staffing levels.
• Prepare operational reports and develop action plans to improve sales.
