Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Ocala, FL is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will train staff, supervise crew and carhops, manage schedules, and ensure safe, efficient food service.

You will monitor inventory, payroll records, and compliance with labor laws while implementing cost controls and marketing plans to drive sales. A high school diploma and 2+ years of QSR management are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
• Must work a minimum 5 days with 4 closing shifts (or 4 days with guaranteed schedule) including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of labor laws, health and sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to recruit, interview and select staff.
• Familiarity with inventory, scheduling and payroll records.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, coaches crew, carhops and staff.
• Directs drive-in operations to meet service standards.
• Reviews adherence to policies and procedures.
• Performs opening/closing duties and staffing adjustments.
• Maintains inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Prepares operational reports and action plans for sales trends.
• Develops and implements marketing plans.
