Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Ocala, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in daily drive-in operations, training staff, and upholding quality food, safety, and guest service standards. Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication, basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet food service standards
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost; completes weekly inventory
• Assists in administrative duties and documentation
• Reinforces customer service focus and guest satisfaction
• Responds to guest requests and assists in resolving complaints
