Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Florida is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team. You will train crew, supervise carhops, and ensure safe, efficient food service while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities include staffing, open/close duties, inventory control, reporting and implementing marketing plans. The role requires a minimum 2 years in restaurant management and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management experience is required.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws is beneficial.
• Basic accounting and computer skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and supervise Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure food service meets standards.
• Prepare employee work schedules and adjust staffing as needed.
• Open/close the restaurant and handle related duties.
• Maintain inventory and place orders within cost controls.
• Prepare operational reports and actionable plans for sales trends.
• Interview, hire and develop restaurant staff.
• Support marketing initiatives and plan execution.
