Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Florida to support daily restaurant operations and staff development. You will train crew, supervise Carhops, and ensure food service meets safety and quality standards while delivering excellent guest experiences.

You will prepare schedules, monitor inventory, handle payroll records, and enforce policies. The role includes opening/closing duties, cost control, and reporting on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies preferred.
• Minimum restaurant management experience, QSR preferred.
• Ability to work 5 days with 4 closing shifts, including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, and coaches crew and carhop staff to standards.
• Directs staffing and ensures food service meets operational standards.
• Maintains adherence to employee handbook, policies, and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties and schedules staff.
• Monitors inventory, places orders, and controls costs.
• Maintains payroll and employment records.
• Resolves guest requests and complaints with urgency and respect.
• Interviews and hires restaurant team members to maintain staffing levels.
• Prepares operational reports and action plans for trends.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan.
