Job summary

Corry Micronics seeks a General Manager to oversee all operations with full P&L responsibility for the Corry and Warrendale sites. You will drive strategic plans, budgets, and capital investments while leading a high-performance team in a defense electronics environment.

The role requires deep RF/microwave expertise, strong relationships in aerospace/defense, and a track record of contract growth with Tier 1 primes. On-site leadership and relocation assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a P&L management role as a senior leader in the defense electronics manufacturing space.
• RF and microwave expertise is highly desired; will consider other highly technical products sold into the defense space, or an RF background sold into other markets
• Deep expertise and relationships within the aerospace and/or defense electronics industries strongly preferred
• Strong operations background; prefer candidates who grew up on the manufacturing floor and understand how to drive production and results
• Prior ERP implementation experience is valued
• Track record of growth in winning contracts with Tier 1 prime companies (e.g., Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman) or equivalent
• Knows how to recruit, train, and motivate a team to achieve results
• Demonstrates solid judgment and ethical business practices
• Strong communication skills with executive-level interactions and negotiations
• Commercial orientation and relationship-building with customers and vendors
• Analytical: ability to analyze data and set priorities

Responsibilities

• Provide general management leadership with full P&L responsibility for the entire organization; drive profitability and growth
• Develop short- and long-term strategic plans and budgets; partner with executives for buy-in
• Lead the development and execution of annual operating plans and capital investments
• Oversee strategic planning, including expansion and personnel skills requirements
• Hire, train, and develop a high-performance team; drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate across Engineering, Finance, HR, IT, Manufacturing, and Quality
• Ensure compliance with CMMC, certifications, and government contracting requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with lead customers and key vendors
• Partner with Business Development to win new opportunities
• Analyze operational metrics and drive process improvements
• Communicate insights from data to stakeholders; uphold company image and ethics
• Serve as face of the business and drive cultural change
• Ensure legality and profitability of all agreements; adherence to laws and contracts
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned
