Job summary

Corry Micronics, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily manufacturing, drive process improvements, and support purchasing and new process development.

You will maintain a safe work environment, manage staff and KPIs, coordinate with other departments, and ensure audits and ISO recertification are met. Strong blueprint reading and SPC knowledge are valued for effective leadership.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Process Engineering or Manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with purchasing and supplier contracts.
• Ability to manage staff and meet deadlines and goals.
• Ability to motivate staff at all levels and work well with others.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen; read blueprints; SPC and engineering metrics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental, health and safety precautions to ensure compliance.
• Ensure output meets quality standards and continuously improve processes.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to maintain profitability.
• Monitor production to resolve issues and optimize throughput.
• Maintain ISO certification and support customer audits.
• Organize workflow to meet specs and deadlines.
• Plan and establish work schedules and production sequences.
• Coordinate with other departments to align operations.
• Provide guidance to production, quality, and shipping staff.
• Evaluate machine resources to minimize downtime.
