Job summary

WhiteWater Express in Battle Creek is seeking a results-driven General Manager to oversee daily operations of a busy car wash location, drive revenue growth, and foster a high-performing team.

You will lead staff development, ensure safety and service standards, manage payroll and scheduling, and enhance guest experience, with a base salary of $50k–$55k plus up to $17.5k in bonuses. This role requires 1–3 years of management experience and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience considered.
• 1–3 years of management experience in retail or hospitality; car wash experience not required.
• Experience supervising 8–12 employees including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and sales abilities; proficient with MS Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and maintain safety and service standards.
• Coach and develop 8–12 staff; manage scheduling and performance.
• Drive revenue growth through memberships and promotions.
• Oversee payroll tasks; ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Partner with Facilities and IT to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Uphold company policies and maintain a positive culture.
