Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding operations in De Soto, Kansas, building a world-scale lithium-ion battery facility. The General Manager of Operations will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple production departments to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for education.
• Proven track record in large-scale manufacturing leadership and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance objectives.
• Direct and support Production Managers to ensure execution of strategy and priorities.
• Establish goals and workforce plans to support plant objectives and customer requirements.
• Oversee budgets, labor utilization, productivity, and resource allocation.
• Support capital planning, equipment strategy, and readiness initiatives.
• Serve as senior operational leader resolving complex issues.
