Worth Ross Management Company seeks an experienced General Manager to lead operations at a premier condominium community in Austin. You will drive resident experiences, oversee budgets, and partner with the Board to ensure high standards and compliance.

The role demands strategic, hands-on leadership, strong financial acumen, and the ability to mentor on-site staff in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.

Qualifications

• CMCA certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a General Manager in a high-rise HOA or multifamily.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, homeowners, and WRMC.
• Lead day-to-day operations to deliver an elevated resident experience.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and expense management for the community.
• Prepare and present the annual budget with ongoing financial insights to the Board.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality and maintenance standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance for service excellence.
• Lead bidding for third-party services and oversee special projects.
• Supervise and develop on-site staff, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and laws.
• Oversee community meetings, elections, and Board communications.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.

• LOCATION: Austin.
• SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Availability for on-call duty is required 24/7, including monthly night board meetings and working sessions.

What You Need to Succeed

• CMCA certification preferred

• At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-rise HOA community or Multifamily.

• Must possess excellent communication skills and be open and adaptable.

• We are looking for a highly proactive individual to take on this role, as it is a solo operation.

• Experience in property management, community association management, or hospitality leadership

• Proven experience working withBoards of Directorsand residential communities

• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and interpreting financial statements

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and community operations best practices

• High school diplomarequired; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
