Worth Ross Management Company (WRMC) seeks an experienced General Manager to lead operations at a premier condominium community in Austin. This role requires strategic leadership, strong financial acumen, and a hands-on, service-focused approach to delivering exceptional resident experiences.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day activities, budgets, vendor relations, and board communications, while ensuring compliance and high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• CMCA certification preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-rise HOA community or Multifamily.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability.
• Experience working with Boards of Directors and residential communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations to deliver elevated resident experiences.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and expense management.
• Prepare and present annual budget and provide financial insights to the Board.
• Conduct regular property inspections for quality and maintenance standards.
• Manage vendor relationships and performance.
• Lead bidding for third-party services and supervise special projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop on-site staff.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and laws.
• Oversee community meetings and Board communications.
• Respond to emergencies with on-call support.

• LOCATION: Austin.
• SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Availability for on-call duty is required 24/7, including monthly night board meetings and working sessions.

• Serve as the primary liaison between theBoard of Directors, homeowners, and WRMC

• Lead all day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless and elevated resident experience

• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management

• Prepare and present the annual budget andprovideongoing financial insights to the Board

• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with quality and maintenance standards

• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure service excellence

• Lead the bidding process for third-party services and oversee special projects

• Supervise, mentor, and develop on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and professional culture

• Ensure compliance with governing documents, policies, and applicable laws and regulations

• Oversee community meetings, annual elections, and Board communications

• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed

What You Need to Succeed

• CMCA certification preferred

• At least 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-rise HOA community or Multifamily.

• Must possess excellent communication skills and be open and adaptable.

• We are looking for a highly proactive individual to take on this role, as it is a solo operation.

• Experience in property management, community association management, or hospitality leadership

• Proven experience working withBoards of Directorsand residential communities

• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and interpreting financial statements

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and community operations best practices

• High school diplomarequired; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
