Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Operations seeks a General Manager for the Dallas, TX site. You will oversee a 300 hourly and 45 salaried workforce, directing MRO activities for aircraft components and coordinating with Operations, Quality, Engineering, EHS, CI, Materials, Customer Service and Facilities.

• Advanced degree and 12+ years of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Business Operations / Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Aftermarket industry; OR Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of relevant industry experience
• 6+ years of personnel management experience, ideally within a bargaining unit / union workforce environment.
• Advanced business knowledge and strong financial, business and technical acumen
• Experience leading P&L with cost, budget, project management and delivering financial performance.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/Six Sigma, QCPC and RCCA).

• P&L Ownership: Plan and manage financial decisions by managing revenues, budgets, controlling costs, evaluating risks and making strategic decisions for the business in partnership with stakeholders.
• Business Performance: Maximize site performance and profit by leveraging product portfolio, capabilities, customer needs and industry demands.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Plan and execute short and long-term strategy and operational direction.
• People Leadership: Manage, lead, coach and empower a team of 6-8 senior functional leaders to drive business objectives, goals and performance.
• Safety & Health: Prioritize and ensure a safe, healthy and compliant workplace.
• Quality: Deliver safe, high-quality products and services by ensuring leadership accountability at all levels of the organization.
• Customer Service: Build and maintain favorable and ethical relationships with customers, vendors and partners.
