Job summary

Quorum Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for Field Station Joshua Tree. You will lead daily operations across all departments, drive guest satisfaction, and shape the property’s service culture from the ground up. The role demands 5+ years in hotel operations, demonstrated leadership, and strong financial acumen including budgeting and P&L management.

A high school diploma is required; a 2–4 year degree is preferred. Proficiency with Windows is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction.
• Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and cost control, including on-site meetings with clients.
• Generate and prepare budgets and financial reports for corporate and ownership groups.
• Participate in ownership calls to review budget and P&Ls.
• Ensure compliance with brand and corporate standards.
• Handle guest concerns and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Mentor department leaders and hotel staff.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of staff.
• Conduct regular property inspections and oversee maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with Accounting on AR/AP, payroll, and month-end activities.

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

Your Role

• Lead daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless service which results in high guest satisfaction survey scores.
• Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and cost control. Participate in the sales effort by meeting on-site contacts for functions, greeting important clients, and participating in sales calls.
• Generate and prepare budgets and financial reports as required for corporate and ownership groups.
• Participate in ownership calls to review budget and P&Ls.
• Ensure compliance with all brand and corporate standards.
• Handle guest concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor department leaders and team members.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality and safety.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and deep cleaning programs.
• Partner with Accounting on AR/AP, payroll, month end, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of progressive experience in hotel operations.
• Leadership experience required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a 2 to 4-year college degree is preferred.
• Financial acumen including budgeting and P&L management.
• Must be proficient with Windows operating systems.
