J&D Restaurants – McDonald’s is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead one of our McDonald’s restaurants in West Des Moines, IA. The General Manager is pivotal in ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while upholding McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

The role requires leadership of all restaurant operations, HR processes, budgeting, safety compliance, and maintenance to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

J&D Restaurants – McDonald’s is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead one of our McDonald’s restaurants. The General Manager is pivotal in ensuring the restaurant operates profitably while upholding McDonald’s standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, guest service, and team management.
• People Management: Lead all human resource processes, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing, performance management, and training.
• Financial Oversight: Make critical business decisions regarding inventory, budgeting, labor management and food ordering/costs to ensure profitability.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to food safety measures and maintain high standards for guest, employee safety and restaurant security.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee maintenance plans and ensure the restaurant meets and exceeds standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• Commitment to excellence and workplace safety.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Proven ability to make decisions and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous McDonald’s Experience and HU Graduation Required.
