Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a hands-on General Manager for a fast-casual/casual dining concept in West Chester, PA area. You’ll lead daily operations, develop a high-performing team, and optimize food costs and scheduling to drive profits while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee hiring, coaching, and performance management, maintain safety and service standards, and continuously improve processes to elevate hospitality and business results.

Qualifications

• 2 years GM experience in fast casual or casual dining.
• Strong knowledge of P&L management, food and labor costs, inventory control, and scheduling.
• ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification is required.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop teams while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2 years of General Manager experience in a fast casual or casual dining setting
• Strong knowledge of P&L management, food and labor costs, inventory control, and scheduling.
• Current ServSafe Manager Food Safety Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop teams while maintaining high standards of service, quality, and accountability.

Preferred Background & Skills

• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, café, deli, or quick-service operations.
• New Restaurant Opening experience is highly preferred
• Track record of driving sales, controlling expenses, and improving financial performance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and process-improvement skills.
• Hands-on leadership style with a passion for hospitality, team development, and a positive workplace culture.
