Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve them. The GM leads a team of Department Managers who have specific responsibilities. He or she helps the Department Managers set their own goals, follows up on progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve their departments. The GM may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team for future success.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high volume locations. A background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
