Beyond Catering in Illinois seeks a General Manager in Training to develop the next generation of General Managers and pave a path to ownership through the Managing Partner Program. This role emphasizes leadership, sales growth, and healthy profit management within a family‑oriented culture.

You will supervise shifts, control expenses, train staff, and implement company policies while fostering a strong team dynamic and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant practices, concepts and procedures.
• Excellent administrative, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Achieve sales targets.
• Recognize revenue areas and develop strategies to grow sales.
• Enforce and execute advertising, marketing plans, HR and training materials.
• Manage and control direct expenses.
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts and other direct expenses.

• Conduct quarterly reviews and ensure adherence to training programs.
• Determine advancement and termination decisions.
• Develop employees into shift managers.
• Provide guidance to a talented team and lead toward success.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000/annually

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Achieve sales targets
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales

• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
• Conduct quarterly reviews
• Adhere to established training programs
• Determine advancement/termination
• Develop employees into shift managers
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success

• Enforce policies, procedures, and controls
