Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Area Beaver Valley is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the hotel team. The role oversees revenue management, sales, rooms operations, and food & beverage, with accountability for achieving budgeted revenues and maintaining Piatt Hotel Group standards.

You will recruit and develop a strong management team, monitor guest feedback, ensure compliance with health and safety codes, and drive guest satisfaction through operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in progressive hotel management.
• 2–3 years as General Manager or Assistant GM.
• Proven sales and RevPAR growth track record.
• Experience with F&B outlets and event spaces preferred.
• Hilton brand experience is a plus.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel and will play a significant role in revenue management, sales, rooms operations, and food & beverage. The General Manager administers, directs, and controls the operations of the hotel and will be accountable for achieving budgeted revenues/profits, while maintaining the operational and service standards of Piatt Hotel Group.

Essential functions of the position include:

• Provide leadership across all departments, including rooms, food and beverage, sales and catering, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration


• Own the property’s financial performance, including annual budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and cost control


• Drive revenue through strategic pricing, distribution, and group and event sales, in partnership with the sales and catering team


• Ensure the restaurant and banquet operations deliver consistent quality, profitability, and memorable guest experiences


• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong management team and foster a positive, accountable workplace culture


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance, including health, liquor, and fire codes


• Monitor guest feedback and online reputation, responding promptly and turning insights into operational improvements


• Oversee capital projects, preventive maintenance, and vendor relationships


• Represent the property in the community and build relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations, and event partners

• Minimum of five years of progressive hotel management experience, including at least 2–3 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager


• Proven track record in sales and RevPAR growth


• Previous Hilton brand experience is a plus


• Experience running a hotel with food and beverage outlets and event space is a plus
