Job summary

Horizon Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for a dynamic fast-casual concept in Manalapan Township, NJ. You will lead daily operations, mentor a high-performing team, and manage P&L to maximize profitability in a vibrant coastal-themed restaurant.

We require at least 2 years of restaurant management experience, a hands-on leader on the floor, and a passion for hospitality. Competitive base salary with up to 20% bonus and health insurance stipend.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and operational excellence.

• Lead & Inspire: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team. Drive employee engagement and build a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage restaurant financials with a focus on maximizing profitability, managing P&L, and optimizing food and labor costs.
• Guest Experience: Ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience that reflects our fresh, coastal vibe.
• Hands-on Leadership: Lead by example on the floor, actively engaging with both your team and your guests.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: At least 2 years of restaurant management experience (Fast-Casual or Quick-Service preferred).
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of hiring, training, and developing talent.
• Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of P&L management, including food and labor cost controls, is highly preferred.
