Job summary

Beyond Catering is looking for a General Manager in Training (GMIT) to develop future General Managers. The role provides a pathway to ownership, profit-sharing, and leadership within the Buona organization through our Managing Partner Program.

The position focuses on leading teams, executing revenue strategies, and shaping a culture with strong family values. A clear pathway to senior leadership and long-term growth is offered through a formal program.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 10+ team members per shift.
• Experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials
• Manage and control direct expenses
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
• Conduct quarterly reviews
• Adhere to established training programs
• Determine advancement/termination
• Develop employees into shift managers
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
• Embrace our balanced corporate structure and strong, family-culture

$65,000 - $85,000/annually
