Job summary

Wharf Casual Seafood in Central Alabama is expanding and seeks General Managers to lead operations in the Montgomery, Clanton, Millbrook, Wetumpka area. This role oversees day-to-day operations and drives budgets, forecasting, marketing, guest service and staff development to ensure exceptional hospitality.

We offer a competitive compensation package with base salary in the $55k–$65k range, an $8,000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly, health insurance, paid vacation, and strong growth potential

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets and forecasts.
• Strong customer service focus and brand promotion experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of multiple locations.
• Manages budgeting, forecasting, P&L accountability, cost control and inventories.
• Initiates marketing and brand promotions.
• Provides superior service and customer care.
• Responds to customer complaints with sensitivity and care.
• Leads and develops team members; interviews and trains staff.
• Ensures compliance with safety and health policies.
• Researches vendors and reviews product quality regularly.
• Estimates future supply needs.

Pay = $55,000-65,000/yr +$8,000 bonus guaranteed within the first year. (Guaranteed year one income between $63,000 - $73,000).

• Initiates marketing and brand promotions
• Provides superior service and customer care
• Responds to customers' complaints in an efficient manner with sensitivity and care
• Manages the performance of team members and provides feedback to improve productivity
• Interviews, selects, and trains employees
• Ensures compliance with established safety and health policies and procedures
• Research new vendors and regularly review product quality
• Estimate future supply needs
