We are seeking a General Maintenance Worker (GMW) to support a large government facility in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

1. Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings, requiring practical skills and knowledge in HVAC and electrical work.
2. Responsible for all general maintenance, upkeep, and repair of mechanical systems.
3. Maintain HVAC components, including CRACU, AHU, FPIU, and FCU.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance on AHUs, CRACU, FPIU, exhaust fans, and FCUs.
5. Replace motor bearings and motors as needed.
6. Install or remove systems and equipment as directed.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of general maintenance experience.
• Experience in carpentry, painting, light electrical work, light plumbing, and mechanical building systems.
• Must pass a background check.
