The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is seeking skilled and dependable General Maintenance Workers to help maintain safe, quality, and affordable housing for our residents.

Responsibilities include performing repairs across multiple trades, preparing vacant units for occupancy, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The role emphasizes customer service and timely completion of work orders within CMHA properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of building maintenance practices, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and perform a variety of repairs.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair furnaces and hot water tanks.
• Install and repair doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, switches, and outlets.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain property curb appeal and safe living environments.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
