White Lodging is hiring a Maintenance role to support hotel upkeep and engineering functions. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks, using hand and power tools, while helping ensure compliance with brand and guest standards.

• Complete work safely with updates to supervisors on tools and materials.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation and stock spare parts.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the hotel’s maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest standards.
• Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing and supervising all aspects of the Engineering function of the hotel.
• Clean all engineering areas as directed, working in a neat and efficient manner to help maintain effective operations.
• Complete all work assigned in a safe and professional manner while maintaining communication with supervisors regarding tools, supplies, and materials.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation and maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to perform general carpentry, plumbing, and painting duties and operate hand and power tools.
• Basic working knowledge of general maintenance with a desire to continue developing in a trade area (e.g., electrical, carpentry).
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally, and ability to stand and move for long periods of time.
• At least one year of maintenance experience required.
