Qualifications

Job description

Join to apply for the General Maintenance Technician role at NOV.

• Work with Maintenance Manager and Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas.
• Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown.
• Work on assigned projects.
• Fabricate and install new equipment.
• Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Utilize safe work habits and wear appropriate PPE.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures, including HSE and Quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
• Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical, Building Maintenance, Machine Maintenance, Plumbing, etc.
• Experience with measurement tools, hand tools, and power tools.
• Ability to cross-train and learn all job duties as required.
• Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
