The purpose of the General Maintenance Technician - Shipfitter is to perform required, planned, and corrective maintenance and repairs to museum ships, buildings, grounds, and piers. These repairs could be structural such as hull or internal bulkhead repair, museum exhibit construction, or general industry repairs on the property.
