Job summary

Westminster Manor in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a full-time General Maintenance worker to manage exterior and interior conditions of the building and grounds. This role includes remodeling vacated apartments and assisting the Director of Maintenance with daily tasks.

Essential duties include completing housekeeping duties, repairs, and special work orders, and redecorating vacated units to a like-new condition for quick re-rental. Ensure safety and report hazards promptly.

Qualifications

This position will be responsible for remodeling vacated apartments and also assist the Director of Maintenance with other day-to-day maintenance and repairs.

Principally responsible for the redecoration of vacated apartments and restore them to a as much “like-new” appearance and condition as quickly as possible for re-rental.

To be on the alert for hazards and potential maintenance problemsand report them immediately to management if it is not immediately correctable.

To assist Directorwith completion of work ordersandwith the maintenance of buildings and groundsin a very clean and neat appearance and top functioning condition.

To assist the housekeeper/janitor whenever necessary to maintain the facility in the best appearance possible.
