Job summary

Westminster Communities Of Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to work Friday through Monday, 7:00am-5:00pm, at Woods Julington Creek in Jacksonville, FL. The role supports day-to-day maintenance of community property and residences, directing staff on repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising staff on jobs, completing projects, and troubleshooting major repairs to HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems throughout the community and units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A/C Gas 1, 2 and 3 license/certification preferred.
• Certification and/or license in special skill.

Westminster Woods on Julington Creek is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician 3to work Friday through Monday 7:00am-5:00pm. The position will assist in the day-to-day maintenance of community property and village residences and direct other staff members on repairs and maintenance matters.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 3 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards and guidelines related to employment with Westminster

Services and its communities.

1. Supervise maintenance staff on specific jobs or projects.

2. Responsible for the completion of specific jobs and projects.

3. Troubleshoot and perform major repairs to A/C units, plumbing and electrical systems throughout the community and residential units.

4. Troubleshoot and identify equipment or system problems in conjunction with contractors or service providers.

5. Troubleshoot and identify equipment problems and direct other staff members on how to repair minor issues with said equipment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN 3 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skilled in at least one area of expertise in Maintenance.

A/C Gas 1, 2 and 3 license/certification preferred.

Certification and/or license in special skill.
