Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney for a regional defense firm in New Jersey. The role focuses on managing a civil defense litigation caseload from start to finish, representing clients in diverse civil defense matters, and collaborating with partners on legal projects.

Responsibilities include court appearances, depositions, briefs, and extensive legal research, with emphasis on persuasive writing and rigorous analysis to develop compelling arguments for presentation of cases.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Proven background in trial, discovery, depositions, legal research, legal writing, and drafting motions.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
