Job summary

Jobot, a well-known regional defense firm, seeks an experienced civil defense litigation attorney to manage cases from start to finish with hybrid schedule and strong support from partners.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 2 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Proven background in trial, discovery, depositions, legal research, legal writing, and drafting motions.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
• Representing clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims.
• Working closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.
• Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
• Conducting extensive legal research and analysis.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, briefs, and other court documents.
• Working with clients and other firm members to investigate facts and law of cases and develop strategies and arguments for presentation of cases.
