McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a dependable 1st shift General Laborer to support operations at our composting and organics recycling facility in Rose Hill, North Carolina. The role involves outdoor work, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with equipment and production areas.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized
• Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks
• Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas
• Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities
• Support maintenance technicians with repair and upkeep projects
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies
• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures
• Maintain accountability for company-issued tools and equipment
• Perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• Previous experience in one or more of the following environments preferred:

• Ability to work safely in a production environment
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work in an outdoor industrial environment
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
