McGill Environmental Systems in Rose Hill, NC is seeking a dependable General Laborer for 1st shift to support composting and organics recycling operations. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying outdoors, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace, we want to hear from you. The role offers competitive pay of $17.00 per hour, plus benefits and training.

You’ll work Monday–Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with potential overtime. A High School diploma or GED and a valid driver's license help you get started.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to work safely in a production environment.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Keep grounds, ramps, screening areas, and shop facilities clean and organized.
• Perform weed eating, shoveling, painting, and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Clean and prepare processing bays and production areas.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and routine maintenance activities.
• Support maintenance technicians with repair and upkeep projects.
• Organize tools, parts, and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations.
