Job summary

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable General Laborer to support daily warehouse and production operations in Taylor, MI. The role involves material handling, loading and unloading, keeping work areas clean, and assisting team members as needed.

You must be comfortable with physical work, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to follow safety procedures. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform physical tasks throughout shift.
• Prior warehouse, manufacturing or general labor experience preferred.
• Hi-Lo/forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Paint and cut steel as part of the job duties.
• Read a tape measure when required.
• Perform general labor, warehouse, and production tasks as assigned.
• Lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 pounds.
• Load and unload materials, products, and supplies.
• Move materials throughout the facility as needed.
• Support production and warehouse team members with daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintain dependable attendance and arrive on time.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily assignments.

This position supports daily warehouse and production operations and involves material handling, loading and unloading, maintaining work areas, and assisting team members as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• This position consists of painting & cutting steel.
• Reading a tape measure is required.
• Perform general labor, warehouse, and production duties as assigned.
• Lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Load and unload materials, products, and supplies.
• Move materials throughout the facility as needed.
• Assist production and warehouse team members with daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions.
• Maintain dependable attendance and arrive to work on time.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete daily assignments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
